Application Visibility
Exinda provides an in-depth visibility and reporting of inbound and outbound traffics by users, groups, subnet, IP address, virtual LANs, internal/external hosts. IT staff can easily differentiate between the mission-critical/business traffic and the recreational/peer-to-peer ones on the network.
WAN Optimisation
Exinda drills down and monitors traffic from Layer 2 through to Layer 7. It also enables policy-based traffic shaping and compression, traffic discard/blocking, time of day policies and adaptive response.
Application Acceleration
Exinda provides further optimisation by accelerating important applications over Wide Area Links such as online centralised backups and centrally hosted applications/data accessed remotely (WAFS). TCP acceleration can be used for numerous applications like SMTP, POP, HTTP, CIFS, FTP and Kaspersky amongst others.
Application Prioritisation
Through enhanced visibility and reporting, IT staff can prioritise and control the traffic on the network. Application Response-Time Measurement
This detects how long end users have got to wait for the applications to respond by highlighting whether the issues are client, server or network related. It helps to adjust the Quality of Service policies to control response times.
